This is the renovation of a flat on a high floor of a 1950s house in the centre of Milan with a beautiful view of the large square below and on the opposite side towards the Alps. Since we were dealing with a flat with a somewhat outdated distribution of space, the organisation of the spaces was completely revised, creating new paths and new zones. We redesigned the sleeping area by resizing the large hallway area with the creation of a central bathroom for use by the second bedroom and the study/guest room. At the end of the diagonal gallery corridor, a double bedroom has been created with a dedicated bathroom and a large walk-in wardrobe delimited by glass panels. The living room has been divided by a custom-designed treated iron screen, as have the doors leading into the hallway of the rooms and the sitting area located between the dining room and the actual kitchen area. From the kitchen one enters an existing veranda equipped as a laundry/storage room. All the walls of the flat and the flush doors have been treated with a lime finish. All the furniture were custom-designed
